Special awards are presented by the jury to nominees in these categories or other categories (e.g., individuals, companies, etc.).

The Blue Design Awards trophy was designed by artist Frank Zadora. Zadora’s mission is to bridge the natural world and contemporary art by creating sculptures that evoke the profound beauty and resilience of nature. By transforming driftwood and other recycled materials into anthropomorphic figures, integrated with new media such as resin, aluminum, marble, and wood, the artist seeks to celebrate the environment’s intrinsic artistic ability and its dialogue with human creativity.
