Mauro Micheli nasce ad Adrara San Martino (BG) nel 1959. Diplomato al Liceo artistico di Bergamo, frequenta successivamente l’Accademia di Brera di Milano. Dopo aver vinto un concorso, nel 1984 è assunto come assistente designer nell’ufficio tecnico dei Cantieri Riva dei quali; dopo una decina d’anni ne diventa consulente esterno con un proprio studio di design, Officina Italiana Design, fondato insieme a Sergio Beretta.

Guido Orsi began his academic journey with a scientific curriculum at the American School, followed by two years of university studies in the United Kingdom. At the age of 20, he entered the family business, taking on active roles across various companies. Among them, he held a long-standing position on the Board of Directors of Orsi Macchine Tessili SpA, a cornerstone of the family’s industrial legacy.

His involvement in the yachting world began with his position on the Board of Cantieri Navali Baglietto SpA, a historic Italian shipyard. After its sale, Guido became a key figure at Tankoa Yachts SpA, initially serving as President until 2018, before transitioning into more operational roles within the company. Today, Tankoa is a family-led venture: with his sister Eva joining the company, she has taken on the role of President, while Guido continues to serve as Vice President. Together, they lead the shipyard with a shared vision, blending tradition, innovation, and a deeply personal commitment to Italian excellence in yacht building.

With a background built across top management roles in Europe and South America, Alfonso Postorino entered the yachting world in 1998 as Sales Manager at Benetti. His career then took him through some of the industry’s most prominent names — Cantieri di Pisa, Amico & Co and ISA Yachts — where he held senior positions and developed an in-depth knowledge of every aspect of yacht building and refit.
The turning point came in 2015, when Postorino took the helm of Cantiere Rossini, a newly established refit-focused shipyard based in Pesaro on the Italian Adriatic coast. He was involved from the ground up — shaping every detail of the project and overseeing its implementation — and has since guided it into becoming a benchmark in the international yacht refit scene. Today he runs the day-to-day operations of a shipyard that has earned a solid reputation across the industry, backed by an experience that makes him one of the most respected managers in international yachting.

Since joining Zaha Hadid Architects in 2001, Paolo has become a key contributor to the practice. Over more than two decades, he has led numerous large-scale and complex projects, distinguished by strong project leadership, design rigour, and a collaborative, solution-driven approach. Supported by deep technical expertise, Paolo is widely regarded within the practice as a trusted resource for resolving complex design and delivery challenges. He is also a leading figure in the integration and advancement of Revit workflows across the studio. Prior to joining Zaha Hadid Architects, Paolo worked as a freelance designer on the University of Forlì Campus, a major transformation of the city’s historic hospital into a contemporary academic environment for 12,000 students. The project involved sensitive integration of new architectural interventions within a heritage context, alongside the development of a masterplan aligned with the city’s wider urban strategy.

Gian-Giacomo Zino, mechanical engineer at University of Genoa, worked in 1992 in Miami at Martinoli Inc. as assistant to the Technical Director.

In 1993 he started in Mariotti, Italy, covering most of the technical/management roles in newbuildings/refit/repairs up to the actual position of Director of Sales & Refits.

His primary role includes the processes of negotiation up to the contracts’ signature with owners.

He usually speaks in several conferences related to luxury vessels and megayachts’ market.

He cooperates with the University of Genova specifically for nautical and marine design.

He is also involved within the Company in innovation programs last of which the realization of an I.A. platform for the tenders’ quotation.
