Emanuela Baglietto, a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa, has been with the Renzo Piano Building Workshop since 1988 and became a partner in 1997. She has led numerous completed projects in Europe, the United States, and Australia, including the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, the expansion of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, the Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo, and the Botín Center in Santander.

She has also worked on numerous projects and competitions, including the acclaimed Istanbul Modern Museum, completed in 2023, and a major residential urban redevelopment project in Sydney, “the One Sydney Harbour.”

She is currently overseeing the project for the reconstruction of the Pilots’ Control Tower in the Port of Genoa and the Orto Rampante in Alassio, Liguria—a project for a new tourist and cultural destination, carefully integrated into the natural Mediterranean landscape.

Katia Balducci, is CEO of the Italian Shipbuilder Group Effebi – Overmarine producing yachts under the Mangusta brand and vessels for the Italian Guard Coast under the brand Effebi. Katia Balducci, year 1972, graduated in Accounting. Since 1991 she has been working in the family owned companies. She has two daughters, Eleonora and Elisa. 

She holds several positions apart from those of Overmarine Grup and Effebi: President of Navigo Scarl – a network of services for Tuscany innovation; Member of the nautical technological district and port activities of Tuscany. She is responsible for services and projects for production and maintenance /refitting, work boats, production plants and trasversal nautical para-military segment.

Since 2024, he has been running his own design firm, Mario Biferali Yacht Design, based in Rome, with a portfolio of original projects ranging from 42 to 150 metres. His international experience in the yachting industry has enabled him to develop strong leadership skills and the ability to interact effectively with dealers, brokers, suppliers, shipyards, and clients. Luca Boldrini is a Partner and the Managing Director of FM Architettura d’Interni (FM Architettura). Having joined the studio in 2019, Luca oversees the company’s strategic and operational direction. He supports the growth of FM Architettura’s global portfolio while ensuring every project meets the studio’s rigorous standards for quality, precision, and client engagement. Working closely with Founder and Creative Director Francesca Muzio, he plays a pivotal role in translating the studio’s creative vision into a robust organizational structure capable of delivering complex international projects.

Laura Ceccarelli, born in Milan, is one of the leading figures in the Italian aluminum yacht building industry. After earning a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in 1989, she began her professional career at Deloitte, where from 1990 to 1994 she developed strong consulting skills, with a particular focus on economic and financial matters, organizational issues, and process development.

In September 1994, she joined the family business in the nautical sector, a historic Italian company active in the construction of aluminum yachts. Within the company, she held operational and managerial roles in various areas—from marketing to finance to product development—gaining a broad and in-depth understanding of the business. This path led her to assume the role of partner and director, a position she still holds today, making a decisive contribution to the definition of corporate strategies and the competitive consolidation of the brand.

As co-founder and co-CEO of Tuxedo Yachting House, she now leads the shipyard—alongside her brother Francesco—with a vision that blends family tradition, contemporary design, and a bespoke approach to shipbuilding. She oversees corporate strategy, owner relations, and the development of custom projects, ensuring that every yacht reflects a flawless balance between aesthetics, functionality, and the client’s identity. Under her leadership, the shipyard has developed aluminum models renowned for their clean lines, high performance, and complete customization options, expanding the range to include fully custom superyachts. Mauro Micheli was born in Adrara San Martino (BG) in 1959. After graduating from the Art High School in Bergamo, he attended the Brera Academy in Milan. After winning a competition, in 1984 he was hired as an assistant designer in the technical office of Cantieri Riva, where, after about ten years, he became an external consultant with his own design studio, Officina Italiana Design, founded together with Sergio Beretta. He considers ancient and contemporary art his main source of inspiration.

Lorenzo Mortola is a naval architect and Chartered Engineer. He leads Gem, the family-owned architecture and marine design firm founded in 1985 in Genoa by his father, Giacomo Mortola, specialized in ocean and river cruise ship design and project management.

Lorenzo is also co-founder of Shipshape, a lighting design and engineering studio dedicated to the maritime sector, with offices in Genoa and Milan.

With more than 15 years of experience in the cruise industry, Lorenzo has collaborated with major shipowners, shipyards, and international operators as lead architect and interior designer on a wide range of award-winning vessels. His work combines bespoke design solutions, operational expertise, and a strong focus on the onboard guest experience.

Fabio Murzi is the President and co-founder of Acqua dell’Elba, a family-owned company founded in 2000 in Marciana Marina, on the Island of Elba, together with Chiara Murzi and Marco Turoni. An architect, he has, together with Chiara and Marco, transformed the inspiration drawn from the sea and the island’s scents into an Italian fragrance manufacturer that now boasts over 30 flagship stores and a significant national and international distribution network. Guido Orsi began his academic journey with a scientific curriculum at the American School, followed by two years of university studies in the United Kingdom. At the age of 20, he entered the family business, taking on active roles across various companies. Among them, he held a long-standing position on the Board of Directors of Orsi Macchine Tessili SpA, a cornerstone of the family’s industrial legacy.

His involvement in the yachting world began with his position on the Board of Cantieri Navali Baglietto SpA, a historic Italian shipyard. After its sale, Guido became a key figure at Tankoa Yachts SpA, initially serving as President until 2018, before transitioning into more operational roles within the company. Today, Tankoa is a family-led venture: with his sister Eva joining the company, she has taken on the role of President, while Guido continues to serve as Vice President. Together, they lead the shipyard with a shared vision, blending tradition, innovation, and a deeply personal commitment to Italian excellence in yacht building.

Born in 1962 and based in Rome his entire life, after holding internationally focused positions in other sectors, he has been working in the world of designer lighting for 20 years and, since 2015, has served as Italian Sales Manager for Astro Lighting, a well-known British brand with 30 years of experience and growth. Since 2019, he has been the Head of Astro Italy, one of Astro’s four branches, alongside those in China, the United States, and the Netherlands. During his time at Astro, he has overseen the evolution of the contract and retail sectors in Italy, creating a network of 15 agencies that serve more than 350 partners nationwide, to whom hotels, architects, interior designers, and private clients regularly turn for guidance. Maintaining ongoing dialogue with design and interior design firms and providing them with training on Astro products is a constant commitment of his.

After gaining initial experience working alongside Pierluigi Spadolini and spending formative years at the Spadolini studio—which were fundamental to his development—as well as working at a shipyard in Singapore, Paszkowski founded Francesco Paszkowski Design in Florence in 1990. From the first 29-meter high-speed open yacht in 1992 for Baglietto—a shipyard with which the firm has continued to collaborate ever since (a 60-meter vessel has just been launched, the largest Baglietto ever built by the shipyard), to the 72-meter yacht for Tankoa Yachts, the firm has designed planing and displacement yachts, in aluminum and fiberglass, for various owners and other shipyards such as Sanlorenzo, Heesen Yachts, CRN, Custom Line, Cantiere delle Marche, Rizzardi, ISA Yachts, and Turquoise Yachts. Paszkowski Design’s creations have received numerous awards, including the 2016 Compasso d’Oro for the Monokini, a 44-meter Baglietto, with exterior lines designed by the firm. In 2023, Paszkowski was awarded the “Pioneer of the Boating Industry” prize, organized by Confindustria Nautica under the patronage of the Ministry of Economic Development, dedicated to individuals who have distinguished themselves in the world of the boating industry through their commitment, professionalism, and expertise.

Roberto Perocchio was born in Aschaffenburg (Germany) in 1961.

Graduated in law, he owns and manages two real estate companies and the yacht harbour “Marina del Cavallino” in the province of Venice.

He is currently president of Assomarinas, the Italian national marina association with 92 members.

Since 1990 he’s also member of the board of Confindustria Nautica, the Italian National Marine manufacturers association which organises the Genova Boat show.

Since 1991 he’s member of IMG, the Icomia Marinas Group, the department of Icomia (International Council of Marine Industries Associations, based in London) dedicated to the international marina branch, which organizes the World Marina Conference every two years in different parts of the world. He’s been appointed chairman of IMG from 2009 to 2017.

Since 2016 he’s also board member of Federturismo-Confindustria, the National Italian Federation of tourism enterprises based in Rome.

From 2005 to 2016 he’s also been managing director of Venezia Terminal Passeggeri S.p.a., the company which manages the cruise port of Venice, one of the most important in the Mediterranean Sea.

Having always lived in seaside cities, Isabella Picco graduated from the University of Genoa in Foreign Languages and Literatures, later completing her education with a master’s in PR and several communication courses. She entered the yachting world by chance, starting her career at Ediconsult, a Genoese company active in publishing and international exhibitions, within their marine division. From there, the step into shipyards was a short one. She began her career in 2001 in the Communications Department of CRN and Custom Line (Ferretti Group). She then continued to grow professionally in shipyards behind globally successful brands such as Admiral, Mangusta, AB Yachts, and Maiora—representing the excellence of luxury, Made-in-Italy yachting. A career that led her to specialize in the segment of superyachts over 30 meters, and which has enabled her to grow and enhance every brand she has worked for. Over the years, she has witnessed and experienced major transformations and remarkable developments, acquiring an outstanding ability to understand the sector’s strategic complexity. In 2025, she took on the role of Marketing and Communications Director at Tankoa Yachts, a boutique shipyard specializing in the construction of large custom yachts, bringing with her extensive experience in managing and developing marketing and communication in the high-end yachting sector, along with the passion and enthusiasm that accompany her in every new challenge. Her love for the sea is also reflected in her role on the board of Marevivo Liguria, the local delegation of the Marevivo Foundation, which has been working at a national level since 1985 to protect the sea and its resources.

With a background built across top management roles in Europe and South America, Alfonso Postorino entered the yachting world in 1998 as Sales Manager at Benetti. His career then took him through some of the industry’s most prominent names — Cantieri di Pisa, Amico & Co and ISA Yachts — where he held senior positions and developed an in-depth knowledge of every aspect of yacht building and refit.
The turning point came in 2015, when Postorino took the helm of Cantiere Rossini, a newly established refit-focused shipyard based in Pesaro on the Italian Adriatic coast. He was involved from the ground up — shaping every detail of the project and overseeing its implementation — and has since guided it into becoming a benchmark in the international yacht refit scene. Today he runs the day-to-day operations of a shipyard that has earned a solid reputation across the industry, backed by an experience that makes him one of the most respected managers in international yachting.

Marijana Radovic, together with architect and designer Marco Bonelli, founded m2atelier, a dynamic design studio based in Milan that integrates architecture, interior design, and yacht design. Born from the fusion of their experiences, the studio combines complementary skills, diverse perspectives, and a multidisciplinary approach. Their design practice spans various scales and sectors, including residential, fashion retail, hospitality, and product design, with a particular affinity for the nautical sector and high-end projects. Over the past twenty years, m2atelier has developed long-standing collaborations with prestigious brands, leading shipyards, and private clients. Marijana Radovic earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Belgrade and a master’s degree in yacht design from the Politecnico di Milano. Milan marked a decisive turning point in her career, where she identified luxury yachting as her field of focus while maintaining a strong connection to the city. In 2005, she moved to Rome to work with the firm Lazzarini Pickering Architetti, then continued her international experience in Geneva and Athens with the Latsis Group, where she oversaw major shipyards and projects. In 2006, she founded the firm Standby, with offices in Belgrade and Athens. In 2009, he returned to Milan, expanding his scope of work to include residential, product, and aeronautical design.

Federico Rossi, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Rossinavi, was born in Viareggio in 1978 into a family of craftsmen. His family worked in the carpentry and mechanical engineering sectors, distinguishing themselves in the 1980s for the construction of high-quality steel hulls for fishing vessels. Federico grew up within the family business, developing a strong interest in metalworking and welding techniques from a young age.

In the mid-1990s, he joined the company full-time, starting in production and later taking over management of the entire production unit in Pisa. During those years, he also began supervising yacht construction.

Federico played a key role in the company’s growth and, in 2007, in its evolution into Rossinavi, a brand now recognized as a leader in the construction of one-off luxury metal yachts. As COO, he steered the brand through the industry’s challenges during the global financial crisis and, in 2010, opened the fourth production facility in Viareggio. At this new facility, he oversaw the construction of six new one-off yachts, including the reconstruction of the famous classic yacht Taransay, originally designed and built in the United Kingdom in the 1930s.

Over more than two decades, he has led numerous large-scale and complex projects, distinguished by strong project leadership, design rigour, and a collaborative, solution-driven approach. Supported by deep technical expertise, Paolo is widely regarded within the practice as a trusted resource for resolving complex design and delivery challenges. He is also a leading figure in the integration and advancement of Revit workflows across the studio. Prior to joining Zaha Hadid Architects, Paolo worked as a freelance designer on the University of Forlì Campus, a major transformation of the city’s historic hospital into a contemporary academic environment for 12,000 students. The project involved sensitive integration of new architectural interventions within a heritage context, alongside the development of a masterplan aligned with the city’s wider urban strategy.

Bernardo Zuccon, born in 1982, trained as an architect, graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at Valle Giulia in Rome, where he subsequently served as a teaching assistant for over ten years. His academic background, deeply rooted in the culture
of civil architecture, remains a fundamental reference point in his design approach to this day: a training that has allowed him to approach nautical design with a different perspective, introducing into his designs compositional principles, proportions, and
spatial sensibilities characteristic of architecture. Bernardo Zuccon, together with his sister Martina Zuccon, leads Zuccon International Project, a Rome-based firm among the most internationally recognized in the nautical sector, founded in 1972 by Gianni Zuccon and Paola Galeazzi. He joined the firm in 2007 and has made a decisive contribution to its contemporary development, guiding its design evolution and the renewal of partnerships with some of the leading international shipyards. It was in this context that the collaboration began with Sanlorenzo and, subsequently, with Bluegame—a partnership that remains active today—giving rise to numerous yacht and superyacht projects that have helped define and consolidate the design language of both brands. His approach is distinguished by a multidisciplinary vision of the project, integrating design, architecture, and innovation. Alongside the marine sector, the firm also operates in the fields of architecture, interior design, and product design, developing collaborations with international companies and organizations. Today, under his leadership, Zuccon International Project continues to be a leading figure in the contemporary marine design landscape, with ongoing projects ranging from yachts and superyachts to new design concepts.
