Reducing the environmental impact of yachting, both globally (CO2 emissions) and locally, is a priority for shipyards and the entire supply chain. Starting from propulsion and moving on to anti-fowling technologies, to the energy efficiency of shipping and the residential side, there are many open fronts where designers, builders and component manufacturers are working hard. Increasingly under pressure from shipowners, as well as regulations, with the goal of “leave no trace behind.”
