Les pied dans l’eau is now a philosophy of building, and especially of wishing. The waterfront is the most structured example, real neighborhoods designed with the sea in mind. But also the construction sites live les pied dans l’eau, and increasingly use the form and functions of their factories to communicate their values.

Always live on the water, but standing still. From houseboats in London and Amsterdam has come a long way, especially in the last thirty years.
